Rise To Meet The Dawn

I can see the morning crimson and burning over the hilltops green in their drowning cold winds they are blowing seeking the red horse in the blue forest behind the mirror seven faces the black ship goes sailing weight your sorrows in the left hand sing the lightning in your right curlew harps break on the grey shore fallen lie the rings of stone sacred hollows have we wandered the wind bends the tall grass into keyholes serpent signs carved on our dreaming as the ragged path unfolds
3.
Symbols 03:34
There is a moon there is a sun there is a circle carved on stone there is a horse riding the ocean there is a clearing in the woods there is a swallow flying over the ocean there is a hand holding a knife there is a cauldron there is a fire there is a river without any god there are children laughing in the wood there are ones who dress in antlers there are portals between the ribs now the dust moves on the stair now the priestess fills the cup now the soldier sings on the mountain now the kingfisher dives
4.
Enter the temple the doorway is open no fire will burn you or water drown long have you travelled valley and mountain inside the circle breathe and lie down there is no past and there is no future let the waves carry our bones to the bottom towers are falling crowns that mean nothing lets the storm enter no wind can harm you horses of wisdom ravens of sorrow all that you need is buried inside you in the forest of darkness the serpent awakes
5.
Where the kestrels hang in towers we go drifting in the dream boat bells are calling the beasts of sunrise leave our bodies far below us no more searching for the reason no more praying for the answer you are the feather that falls on my page the clouds are lifting our ghosts leave the harbour we go drifting in the dream boat
